School Council
At Queen Elizabeth II Primary School, our School Council continues to thrive as a vital part of school life. With representatives from Primary 4 to Primary 7, the Council meets regularly and plays an active role in shaping our school community.
Over the past year, our School Council members have shown fantastic leadership, responsibility and communication skills. They've been at the heart of several key initiatives, including:
- Behaviour and Ethos: Pupils led the way in promoting positive behaviour through the successful 'Golden Ticket' system and other pupil-led strategies, helping to foster a respectful and inclusive school environment.
- Community Engagement: Council members helped organise and support community events, strengthening ties with the PTA, Board of Governors and the wider community
- School Values: Through their work, the Council has helped embed our school values more deeply into everyday life at QE II PS
Their contributions have been recognised across the school, and their voice continues to grow stronger. Looking ahead, we're excited to build on this solid foundation by expanding pupil involvement in curriculum decision, extracurricular and digit engagement.
