Today, our P5-P7 pupils had an exciting and informative visit to Nugent. We would like to extend a big thank you to Nugent for welcoming us and giving our pupils such a valuable experience.
During the visit, pupils learned about the various contracts the company has been awarded, gaining a real insight into the world of industry and engineering. They particularly enjoyed the hands on activity of putting the pipes together, which helped bring their learning to life.
The workshop also included an introduction to apprenticeships, giving pupils a glimpse into future career pathways. To top it all off, everyone was treated to a lovely break-time snack.
It was a fantastic trip and our pupils came away inspired and full of new knowledge!
